Program Overview

Your Summer Comparative Public Health Systems II + III program in London and Amsterdam lasts 8 weeks. You will enroll in one required CIEE course per session.  Enhance your experience with extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Dutch and British culture. Live and learn in Amsterdam and London!

Housing

CIEE London offers a range of housing options, including residence halls or shared apartments, to ensure you're comfortable in your home away from home. All housing options are located in neighborhoods with convenient access to public transportation, shops, cafés, and eateries.

Program Highlights

  • Academic Courses: Take one CIEE course per session (2 sessions).

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in London and Amsterdam will open doors for you to explore England and the Netherlands' rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Browse the urban markets on Sundays in Shoreditch and Brick Lane or enjoy fabulous food on Fridays in Borough Market 
  • Explore Amsterdam's world-famous canal belt on a private canal cruise 
  • Experience Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre on the banks of the River Thames

Academics

CIEE Amsterdam: Study in the heart of the Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam! CIEE Amsterdam boasts four classrooms, a student lounge with complimentary books, an office space, and a charming outdoor patio.

CIEE London: Study in the Bloomsbury district, one of London’s most vibrant neighborhoods set in the academic and literary heart of the city. CIEE London features classrooms, a student lounge, a library, a study space, a student life office, an academic advising office, a café, and a garden terrace.

GAIN Travel Grants - Up to $1,500 toward travel costs guaranteed to students with a FAFSA SAI of $10,000 or less. Higher should still apply!

Gilman Go Global Grants - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $1,000 guaranteed to Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship applicants.

Merit-Based Scholarships - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $750/summer awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
