Your CIEE Summer Intern and Study Abroad program in Amman lasts 6 weeks and features three key components: A part-time internship with an international organization (15-20 hours per week), an internship seminar, and a 3-credit academic course taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Whether you are majoring in business, science, engineering, technology, communications, psychology, health sciences, liberal arts, language, or fine arts, Amman is the perfect place to study or intern abroad.
CIEE Amman offers various housing options, including homestays or shared?apartments, located in?neighborhoods with convenient?access to the center of Amman. Homestays are situated in different parts of the city and vary in distance from CIEE Amman. Apartments are roughly 15 minutes from downtown and other lively parts of the city but are a?bit further from CIEE Amman (around 45 minutes).

CIEE Amman: Study in a student-friendly neighborhood nestled in a traditional area of the city, offering a unique and special opportunity to interact with locals. CIEE Amman boasts three main classrooms, a library, a study space, a reception area, and public computers students can use as needed.
Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by CIEE in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with optional online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 6-week sessions that fit within the CIEE academic calendar.

GAIN Travel Grants - Up to $1,500 toward travel costs guaranteed to students with a FAFSA SAI of $10,000 or less. Higher should still apply!
Gilman Go Global Grants - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $1,000 guaranteed to Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship applicants.
Merit-Based Scholarships - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $750/summer awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
