Ireland: Sports Medicine and Psychology in Dublin

This experience will encompass sports medicine and psychology in Dublin, Ireland. During the course, we will experience the culture of Ireland during a week long excursion across the pond. Highlights of the trip will include injury clinics and sitting in on courses in sports medicine and psychology at Dublin City University. We will focus on sports and games within the University and Club settings.

Information: Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland, is on Ireland’s east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. Its historic buildings include Dublin Castle, dating to the 13th century, and imposing St Patrick’s Cathedral, founded in 1191. City parks include landscaped St Stephen’s Green and huge Phoenix Park, containing Dublin Zoo. The National Museum of Ireland explores Irish heritage and culture.

Billing for the spring break 2017 programs will occur upon registration into the courses associated with the Study Abroad program in STAR. The payment deadlines for the program will be the same as WVU Spring Semester Tuition and Fees. Registration will occur in mid-April, students will receive correspondence from OGA with registration instructions upon acceptance into the program after the application deadline. All payments are due in full before trip departure. Payments can be made through STAR or by contacting the Office of Student Accounts at (304) 293-4006.
