These visits enrich students’ knowledge of Mexican culture and history.
Full Immersion through Homestay Program
University of Guanajuato does not have dormitories; however, they do provide assistance regarding housing arrangements. Students are encouraged to take advantage of their homestay program with pre-selected and carefully screened Mexican families. Homestays with Mexican families make the student experience more valuable by providing full immersion in the Spanish language and Mexican culture.
