Japan: Waseda Summer Session
June 26 to July 20, 2017

Waseda Summer 2017Waseda started a four-week summer session in 2014, welcoming more than 140 international students in 2016. These highly motivated international students represented 65 universities in 13 different countries and regions around the world. The session is open to international students as well as Waseda students.

Participants can take part in 2 courses out of 15 which are wide aspects of literature and art, business, culture, economics, history, politics and sociology in the context of Japan and Asia pacific, offering 4 credits for 2 courses. The classes are taught in English by experienced faculty members from Waseda and visiting professors from the top global universities. Japanese classes can be taken as an optional course. Waseda also organizes extracurricular activities such as field trips, site visits and cultural events to experience Tokyo and Japan.
