romeUniversity of Rome Tor Vergata is located in the east of Rome. The university has approximately 30,000 students. It is a comprehensive university, although at this time only Engineering students may study abroad with this university. Many Engineering courses are offered in English. Only 1-2 semesters of Italian is required to enroll.

Information: Rome, Italy’s capital, is a sprawling, cosmopolitan city with nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture on display. Ancient ruins such as the Roman Forum and the Colosseum evoke the power of the former Roman Empire. Vatican City, headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, boasts St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which house masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescoes.

Cost

Financial aid and scholarships will apply. Students will pay university and study abroad tuition and fees to WVU, while housing and food will be paid in Italy.
