Information

Germany: Summer Program in Communication in Erfurt (SPICE)
GermanyStudents are invited to spend nine weeks from mid-June to mid-August studying the intersection of communication and culture in central Germany. The nine-week program - a collaboration with the University of Erfurt (Germany) Big XII member schools University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma - places US students in English-language courses with German colleagues. Students take two courses, each four weeks long, with a one-week excursion to Berlin separating the courses. In addition to these two courses, students will also maintain an active blog on their experiences with German culture, capturing their entire study abroad experience in a digital portfolio. Group travel to other destinations, such as Amsterdam and the Buchenwald Concentration Camp in Weimar, is also planned.
