Program Description:
SUMMER IN CYPRUS
EARLY CHRISTIANITY
OVERVIEW

Study Ancient & Medieval Christian Thought in the first country in the world to be governed by a Christian ruler, and home to the UNESCO World Heritage Byzantine Painted Churches, as well as St. Lazarus’ final burial place, and was at some point home to the Knights Templar.

Museums and churches all around the island are a testament to the strong influence of Christian culture in Cyprus’ history
